Blue Tin Metal Tray Repurposed Chalkboard. Welcome to Second Time Treasures! This is a tray I had found while thrifting a while back. With this tray I also found 2 really retro looking ones, and 2 red ones as well. With most things it is my first time repurposing, and upcycling different pieces. I thought this would be cute as a chalkboard, but am sorry to say places I checked I could not find the spray chalkboard. So, I ended up getting a bottle of the liquid chalkboard paint, and used a sponge to apply it. Now....I know why the spray is more effective, and recommended. You do not see the
lines of application with the spray as you do with the sponge application. But, this is the completed project I had done with this tray. I wish I had another tray like this to do another one, but this was the only one found. I have tested it, and it is writable, and works as it should which is good. Now, I am thinking of different methods to add something to this that it can hang, and be used. Wish me luck...a working progress:)
When you have a chance, visit with my Artfire Store to see some of the vintage pieces I am offering for sale....have sold 3 pieces past couple of weeks:) Also, I have some inventory of my repurposed pieces listed there, and pieces done recently will soon be added. Working on pieces to build my inventory to offer to everyone:)
Thanks for visiting Second Time Treasures, and hope you enjoyed your visit with me. Feel free to visit my other pages....which actually take you to my main blog showing everything. Thanks again, and have a wonderful day everyone!:)

Glass Cloche Cake Snack Plate Home Decor Repurposed
Glass Cloche Cake Snack Plate Home Decor Repurposed.
Welcome to Second Time Treasures, and glad to have you here. Below you will notice pictures that are before, and after of some items I have repurposed. I have not listed them for sale with my Artfire Store yet as I am still working on completed inventory projects before posting them. Until that time, I thought I would share a little bit of what I have been working on. Hope you enjoy:)
Sorry, did not get complete pictures of the before with this project repurposed, but hope you can see what was done. I used a glass bowl with a fluted rim, a glass Homco candle holder for the base, and a large white lace with a mauve colored ribbon pulling it together with a tied bow.
Here is the completed Glass Compote Candle Holder Repurposed Home Decor that was reconstructed by Me. The "skirt" around the neck of this bowl area could be removed, and also applied to a small mini lamp shade too.
Here is a Glass Vase, and a Glass Candle Holder that holds the skinny slim candles.
Glass Cloche With Green Vase and Pink Flowers was repurposed by Me. I glued the glass candle holder to the bottom of the glass vase making it a Glass Cloche to adorn any room in the home. Along with the for inside the cloche I used a green glass anchor hocking mini vase, and some pink flowers from my own supply making the small bouquet.
I have listed these Mikasa Plates with about 3 different venues, at different times, and they have not sold. I do not wish to throw them out, and I do not want to give them away either. So, I have repurposed them for use in your home.
2 Tier Plate Dessert Cookie Snacks Chips and Dip. Item has many uses, and many possibilities for many occasions too. I used the dinner plate on bottom, attached a salt shaker of a different brand with same background color, and speckled design. Attached a matching saucer plate, and have added the dip, or sauce bowl to be used too. The yellow bowl is not attached. Removing it would only add another use of this tier plate being displayed.
Showing the same 2 Tier Plate with the yellow bowl sitting next to it.
I have enjoyed making these pieces this week, and am anxious to work with more, and repurpose more as I separate more of my inventory for this purpose. Thanks so much for visiting with Second Time Treasures today, and hope you enjoyed your visit. You are always welcome to leave comments, share with us all, ask questions, and so on. Take care everyone, and have a wonderful weekend!:)

Welcome to Second Time Treasures Formerly Passn It On
Hello everyone, and glad to see you here!:)
Whew! If you will please bear with me one more time....I am making some changes with ALL my blogs, trying to make them work together, and bring them in together a bit more than what they were. With this one you will notice I have changed the name with it....fits more with what I am working on doing, and changing things to. Some blogs of mine have been canceled, and some have been added.....as pages for my main blog. As ya'll know, that is where I have been spending a lot of my time is with my main blog....it's for my business, and generates the traffic for me that is growing too! I am excited because for me it is an accomplishment.
When I started things online with selling I just kind of stepped up to it, and just did it. Over time I have been learning things, researching things, and reading things. I decided to slow myself down a little bit, and re-evaluate things a bit more. So, I have stepped back a bit, decided to work with my blogs more, and my website, and try to get my views and things up with that. I have not listed anything new for my stores....as of yet. Summertime is always slow for me. It gives me a chance to do what I am doing now, look things over, see what I need to change, and decide what directions I am going.
I LOVE vintage, collectibles, and always will. I enjoy selling them, and am always learning great things, and meeting great people along the way too. But, things haven't been fully settled with me. I felt there was more I wanted to do, and just did not feel completed yet. Over time I have watched, read, reviewed, and soooo enjoyed everything shared by soooo many crafty people out there! Kind of some of the "Child" coming back in me. When I was younger I use to paint things, create things, sew with grandma's sewing machine, and over time grandma would bring me silk flowers she would find on sale, or maybe bring some other things of scraps of material and different supplies she would find on sale. I now know I should have listened to her quiet hints to me. She seen something with me then, and I soooo wish she was here to see things now, and see what I have been working on, and planning to do!
So, I intend to keep selling vintage, collectibles as I do enjoy it. But, along with it I also will be implementing things with repurposed, reused, upcycled, and items reconstructed by me. I am no expert, and learning as I go. But, it occupies my time, I am enjoying it, and it has been comforting to work with some things so far. I hope to be doing more with supplies, and things I have here now. Working on my schedules of things, and trying to get back into the "groove" of what I do....selling:)
Thanks for being patient, and bearing with me through all of this. I really appreciate it. Please, check out my main blog of LilacsNDreams. See the pages that have been added to it, and some of the rearranging of things I have also been doing. Working on trying to bring it all together.....one step at a time:) Thanks for visiting, and please visit to keep updated. Know that you are always welcome to leave comments, and share with any of my blogs, and pages. Take care everyone!:)

Artfire, Blog, LilacsNDreams, Vintage, Collectibles, Repruposed, Upcycled
Hello everyone, and Welcome to PassnItOn! Wonderful to see you here!
I like many others have gotten into some kind of slump of not getting things done. I think with all the google changes of the UPI, having to redo listings to help them get accepted with google, and each site you belong to seems to do it just a lil bit differently. So, that has taken some work to do that, and then also keep up with Facebook, blogs, website, and so on.
I have been working with my website the past few days. Know how you do something, and it just feels unfinished, not full done, like it is missing something? Well, I was getting that on my website I was working with. Did not feel fully like I wanted it to. I had done quite a bit with it, but it just felt like there was something missing, and could not put my finger on it. Well, I worked with it, and think I have it to a point I can enjoy it more. Right now I have it set up with different tabs for venues I sell with, and am using all widgets that I can to either click, and view more, or have it take you to purchasing pieces too.
I have reworded some of my Welcome, and About Me, and hopefully I can leave it alone for a while now. I need to work on adding more content with it, but that is one thing I am thankful for that I did add a Blog Tab to the top of my site so there is a place to blog with. At least I can offer things there, show things, and keep everyone updated with things by using my website blog too.
So, what has everyone else been up to? I know around here this weekend is a very big weekend for graduation! Another year gone by, and another time in life for those who will be stepping forward to experience life, and the new roads that they will take. How scarey, how fun, how exciting, and how heart felt too.
Hopefully I can keep clearing things out of the house, narrow down some areas, reorganize & simplify, and start working with some crafts again. I have made notes, and hope to imply some of the ideas soon that I have been noting:)
Hope this finds everyone doing well, and wishing ya'll a super weekend! Visit my LilacsNDreams Artfire Store for vintage, collectibles, glassware, home decor, housewares, and also for repurposed and upcycled treasures too. Hope you enjoy the visit as well.

Artfire Addoway Vintage Collectibles Repurposed Upcycled
Hello, and Welcome to PassnItOn! Stopping by to wish all of you a HAPPY EASTER to you, and yours. Be safe, and enjoy the day everyone.
This year just me, and hubby sitting at home. Feels really different, but I guess this is what it is when kids grown up, move out, on their own, marry, children, and etc. Holidays will always be hard with this.
Tonight I did about 9 listings between Artfire, and my Addoway Store. I have completed the transfer of repurposed, and upcycled treasures from PassnItOn into my LilacsNDreams Store. Has been a smooth move, and actually I think a good one too. I have been featured with more collections with the transfer, and of course puts more items into my LilacsNDreams Artfire Store which will bring more traffic too. So, now you will find the repurposed, and upcycled treasures I do in that store along with vintage, collectibles, glassware, and so on. So far I think things are blending in well enough. When you visit my store, on the right side of the page click on the category for Repurposed, Upcycled, Recycled to see all the items of this nature listed there.
I really thought about it hard, but finally did remove the pro membership on my PassnItOn Store to a basic account. Hated to let such a good deal go, but nothing is in the store, no plans to do anything with another store at this time, and it is for the best to do this. I also have another store that is with Addoway where I will be offering treasures that are not old enough for vintage, but collectibles, or pieces that are still desired by people.
So, when you have a chance visit with my stores, browse, and enjoy your visits. Any questions do not hesitate to contact me, ok?
Wishing ya'll a super weekend, and a very HAPPY EASTER! Take care, enjoy, and be safe!

Artfire Vintage Collectibles Glassware Home Decor Repurposed Upcycled Recycled
Hello, and Welcome to PassnItOn Blog. Happy to have you here.
Sorry, I know I have been a bit slow getting to this blog, and it has not been intentional. Been working with the transfer of items from my PassnItOn Artfire Store into my LilacsNDreams Artfire Store. Been a little slower then intended due to family, life, and something is always coming up lately. But, I keep working on it as I am able to.
I do have a cloche that I had repurposed, upcycled, and recycled from different pieces put together. I was never really completely happy with the ending product. It felt like something was missing, but not sure what it was. You ever get that sometimes? And then it bothers you, or nags at you a bit till maybe you think of something. Done that a few times myself as I am sure others have too. Well, the other night before transferring it to my LilacsNDreams Artfire store I found a glass piece that appeared to be the right size, height, and was clear glass to match with the glass cloche dome made. I have glued the piece to the bottom, and feel better with the piece now. It gave it a little bit of height, not much, but just enough I think. My only hope is that others will like it as I like it now. My first cloche to make, and I have ideas for another one. Still a working progress for the second one.
I have been busy with my facebook page for LilacsNDreams, and have had many likes this past week from many good Artfire Members, and others finding me along the way. I am really enjoying the combination of both these stores, have had some good responses to it, and some great views too. It really feels good to house things under one roof...so to speak.
When you get a chance, visit my LilacsNDreams Artfire Store. Hopefully this weekend the transfer will have been completed as I have also completed a few other projects I would like to add with the inventory. I am really enjoying this, and feel comfortable with this too. Stop by to visit, say Hi, leave me a comment, and love the visits! Hey, don't forget you can do the same thing here too!:)
Thanks for visiting PassnItOn Blog today. Hope to see you again. Take care everyone, and have a super weekend!:)

Vintage, Collectibles, Glassware, Dinnerware, Home Decor, Repurposed, Upcycled, Recycled with LilacsNDreams
Hello everyone, and Welcome to PassnItOn! Glad to have you here.
As everyone knows I was gone most of the weekend, and during the time of abscense, driving for hours, etc. I had time to think of things too. I have 2 shops with Artfire, and the other shop has a different name. The name with the 2nd one is a name I have been suing since like 2004-2005 when I first started sales online. Everyone likes simplicity, less work, easier to organize & maintain, and having things in 1 place. I believe I am going to be combining my 2 shops at Artfire under my other shop name which is LilacsNDreams. Within that shop I will be offering vintage, collectibles, dinnerware, glassware, home decor, kitchenware, along with repurposed, upcycled, and recycled treasures. Some of the reconstructed treasures might use a vintage piece during its process making. After much thought I feel that this kind of variety store would be fine to have combined, and a more enjoyable shopping experience for everyone too.
So, now that I am back home, rested a bit today, I would like to start working tomorrow on moving things over, and combining into one store. As my friend has often mentioned....simplicity....and I feel like this is a good move too. When you get a chance, watch my LilacsNDreams Artfire Shop where you will see everything in 1 place to simplify. I will then be able to better focus with my listings more into 1 shop, give it all the proper attention it should have, and not only will it be more enjoyable for the customers, but also for me too.
I will keep this blog going right now, and have no intentions of closing this. Great way to keep everyone informed, share, and gives everyone time to find me with other places too. When you have a chance feel free to visit my other blog at LilacsNDreams Blog, or visit my website I have also been working with at LilacsNDreams Website. Would love to have you visit, and leave comments with things too.
Thanks for the visit, and the understanding of changes coming too. Wishing ya'll a very Happy Hump Day! Take care, and best wishes to everyone!

PassnItOn Repurposed UpCycled ReStored Treasures
Good Morning, and thank you for visiting my PassnItOn Blog. Hope this finds everyone doing well, and having a super day.
I have a mess on my table with pieces of glass to glue together, sorting through pieces, setting pieces together and then deciding do not like it, or altering them, and so on. I have different little mini bouquets of flowers sitting around trying to decide finishing touch for another piece, and babysat grandbaby yesterday.....so I was delayed from what I started to do:) Looking at it today, and still unsure of a few things.
Think gonna leave house for a bit, get some errands done, clear the head a bit, and hopefully when I come back I will see a picture of things to accomplish with some of these pieces here.
Don't forget to visit PassnItOn Artfire Shop to see some of the pieces I have done, and watch for more to come....once I get them completed. Also, to see my links, pictures, and notes in one place feel free to visit a site I am working with PassnItOn. I am thinking I might like this better for a website than the google one I have been working with. Much easier to navigate, and deal with. Still a working progress, but really like the ease of things with this place. Check it out, and see what you think.
Here is wishing all of you a Happy Hump Day! Wishing you luck with all you do being productive, and with those who sell too. Thanks for visiting PassnItOn, and hope to see you here again soon!:)

* * * ALL items have been repurposed, upcycled, and self created by Me using previously loved items that may show light wear, if any. I search for items to use with care, and find the best possible pieces I can that are in a respectable good used condition. Sometimes some of them look like new. All pieces are then carefully hand washed prior to my process of repurposing, and upcycling. I would not offer anything to you that I would not gladly display with my own home. Unfortunately, I do not have the room for all of these lovely treasures created (LOL) They must go to new homes, and that is why I offer them to everyone with my Artfire Shop. I enjoy what I am doing, and am always anxious to be working with something new, and making notes for new ideas. As I like to note in all my listings, unless otherwise noted to you these pieces are One-of-a-kind not found in stores. How Special is that? * * *
Have a super evening everyone, Happy Hunting, and Shopping!:)

PassnItOn Blog, Website, Web Presence, Come Follow Me
Hello everyone, and Welcome to PassnItOn! Glad to have you here, and glad to be able to share with you what I have been working on the past few days, and at times pulling my hair a little bit too.
Yes, I do have a project I am working on to finish for the store, and got some other creative ideas I am working with too. I am finishing up making a cloche right now. I have found a glass bowl that I am adding my own cloche handle to it by decorating it with some simple lace, and flowers. I have a plate that it nicely sits into making this a cloche with the dish too. Pieces are all in great shape, and look almost new too. Hope to have that done next couple of days to show all of you:)
Ok, what I have been steadily working on are my blogs, but mostly websites for this store, and for the other store I have had for much longer than this. Yesterday I was working on my website for this venue when my grand daughter got on my lap, and bumped the keyboard, and not sure what happened from there. Thought I had the issue fixed last night, and finally walked away from it, but found earlier this afternoon was not fully fixed. So, I have removed everything, and trying to get back to the beginning to start it all over again. Hopefully I can fix it as it was looking so good too.
I have decided I sell with different venues, some market places I am signed with, but do not do much with them anymore. It's hard to find a place to call home that is agreeable for what I do, what I sell, and to work with what my needs are. So, a long time ago I had read a blog about a woman, and her husband who had moved from their long time home in CA to Ohio I think it was. They moved their business there, and it was doing well. But, like all of us we are always looking for more ways to get our names out there, show our business, and do it as cost efficiently as possible too. Let's face it, things cost to do. Having your own website can cost with hosting, domains, shopping carts, if you pay someone to design it, and so on.
Anyway, this woman had proposed the idea of how you could bring yourself out by having a blog, and a website, and do it almost for little to nothing cost. She felt it could still work, and was going to work on it to show it could too. The last I knew of she was showing progress with her ideas, and I was happy for her. The idea she had of this had always stuck with me. So, you research, read, see what others are reporting, work on your own venues in between all of this, and keep trying to put it together.
Well, as of today I think I seen a light that is starting to make sense, and is actually coming together for me. So far, biggest cost has been having my domains with GoDaddy. I have a .com for PassnItOn which leads to my blog here, and I also have a .com for my other name of LilacsNDreams which also leads to my blog. I got a special that I took for 2 years with LilacsNDreams, since PassnItOn is new I have taken a domain for 1 year here, and when I visited GoDaddy today with a goal in mind I got my .net for LilacsNDreams at $9.99 for the year. I haven't even spent $50 yet, and have been setting up websites with google sites, weebly, and using my blogs. What a deal, huh?
What I have decided to do is keep everything pretty much between 2-3 sites for everyone to follow. Much easier to remember, easier to find, and with all the sites I am working on there will always be clickable links that take you to the market places you would like to visit where I am selling, and to also visit other sellers too. And, I will also have the links for both of my store names between the sites too. So, if I ever decide to move from a market place, slow down with sales at one and focus with another venue, instead of trying to keep up with where I move to it, and follow me to the the venue, it will be noted between my blogs, and websites.
So, I like to think I will only be a "click away", and hoping it will be more convenient for the customers, friends, those who follow me, and etc. Right now for this store name I have this blog, a website I am working with and reconstructing after yesterday, but do have another website I have found that I rather like too which is at weebly, and is coming along nicely too. So, if you feel the need to visit one of the websites, or my blog all the info will be noted with those places. With my blog here you will see on the right side bar clickable links to these places. With these places you will find links, pictures, and which venue the pictures are for that the item is listed with. So, instead of roaming through many different stores looking, you can visit my blog, or websites to get your ideas before visiting me, and don't forget all the other wonderful sellers that have their wonderful listings too.
I do apologize if this sounds a bit confusing. I am excited, and after working on things for a while, not being computer technie, and trying to understand things when I seen a light, and felt it coming together I got excited:) I hope I can do what I am planning, and have been planning. It all takes time, a lot of work, a lot of devotion, and I am fortunate to be able to be home to do all of this. Please bear with me, and I will keep you updated as things move along here. Thank you for your patience, understanding, following me, and visiting with me. Thanks for visiting, and drop by anytime to see what is happening next. Always welcome to ask questions, leave a comment, share, etc.

Junking-Love It, Treasure It, and Craft With it Too!
The weather here is gorgeous compared to all the snow, and winds we have had! Love it, ready for spring, and so anxious to open windows for fresh air, and to maybe do some painting too.
I have been roaming blog land a little bit today, and I just LOVE it when I can find others who share their work, and the same love and desire for junking, thrifting, etc! I love seeing work of others which inspires me not to copy them, but to look closer at pieces I already have at home, seeing them in new ways. It also makes me anxious to get out, and dig for some treasures to bring home, and work on too. Hmm....
Ok, here are 3 blogs I visited today that I would love to share with you. I hope you like the work, and can be inspired by what they have done, or by the work they show of others. http://www.junk-fest.blogspot.com, http://www.bec4-beyondthepicketfence.blogspot.com, and http://www.fabulesslycrafty.blotspot.com. Hope you enjoy your visits with them as I did....Have Fun!:)
Thanks for visiting PassnItOn today. Any questions, or comments do not hesitate to do so, ok? I found it very helpful, nourishing, and great when things can be shared amongst ourselves, and with others too. Have a super Sunday everyone, and Happy Thrifting!:)

Etsy Forums Are Gone Join a Team to Get Your Answers
Hello everyone, and Welcome to PassnItOn! Glad to see you here, and hope you enjoy your visit:)
Well now, just came from etsy forums again. Looks like it started with the Forums, but I thought it was suppose to be mid February that they started with the forums? Anyway, a lot of the forums are being locked. You can view what was said, look for an old post, but no more comments can be made.
So, that then brings up the issues of the Teams that are replacing the forums. First of all, you have to join Teams. You have to apply for them, and be approved for them before you can participate with them. If you have pictures that are not good, or acceptable, a Team Captain can deny you joining the Team. Then, if you go forward, correct what was not acceptable before trying to join a Team, you will then have to contact the Captain to ask them for reapplying. Also, if the Team requests for the Captain to accept the member is another way to gain access I guess.
Wow! Was much simplier when you could go to the forums, and look for the issue you were needing help with. A place where you could openly share, and promote your stores, and if you had a glitch or a bug, you could inquire right away about it. But, now if you have any issues you cannot just openly ask about it. You will have to go through the process of joining a team. But, if you are denied a membership to a Team....where do you go then to have your questions answered? Are they going to start a Team for Bugs and Glitches? If so, what if you were denied a membership to that? Then what?
Sorry, but this sounds very complicating, and very unethical too. This is not a very professional business way to handle a large group of people who make the selling venue what it is. Sorry, but this is really upsetting to hear this, and I am trying to understand it as many other members of Etsy are also trying to adapt, and having problems with it.
So, what do you think? Do you think the Forums being removed was a good thing? Do you feel that having Teams for the forums was the right move? How comfortable are you with selling at Etsy with all the changes happening? Please, feel free to respond to these things everyone. Have to have some where to vent a bit:)
Tomorrow Super Bowl Sunday! Hope ya'll have a great day with family, friends, or watching yourself. Enjoy the day, best of luck to all, and Be Safe!

Is Etsy Still Truly, and Legally a Venue OR are They Social Like Facebook
Welcome to PassnItOn, and glad you are here! I have slacked a bit lately with my Artfire store I have with this name. Stayed busy with other shop there, and today was looking at some more pieces trying to decide what to do.
There are have been changes that happened at Artfire with their forums. Looks better, more organized, and everyone seems to be adapting well.
Now, are any of you associated selling, or buying on Etsy? If so, I would strongly recommend to be careful right now. There is too much happening that is sending some tidle waves around there, and they have people closing their accounts too.
It has been a spiral with Etsy. One thing after another, and it keeps happening too. They had the issue of the treasuries a while back where personal names, and information was going out about sellers there, or those who had accounts. Then there was the coral fiasco which was not good. Another issue not long after that was with a seller there, and the kind of cards they were offering that were very offensive, and very disruptive with everyone. It was bad enough that this issue made the CNN news with it. How sad. Next is the issue of the forums at Etsy, and that they will be rid of them soon. Oh, they will keep a few areas, and they are pushing the circles, and the teams that you will have to join to find out anything, get any information, ask your questions, and so on. But, they have just recently redone their forums, and the layout, and not sure what to think. Are the getting rid of the forums, or not now?
Lastly, there is the issue of the privacy that is really making many of the members mad. Etsy wants you to ok the release of your address book contacts to them so that they can store, use, sell as they see fit. Their excuse has been so that people looking for you can find you through your email addresses. You will have the option to opt out of this, but if someone else you bought from has your address, and they opt in, well...their goes your information. During this time of disruption with the privacy issue some started to experience issues with facebook....they had their etsy shops connected to facebook, and had the applications accepted at facebook for etsy. But, some had their personal information coming out from this too. Their personal names, and it wasn't just hitting the fan pages. Some reported it happening to their profiles with their personal pages.
I would recommend stopping by Etsy, and reading through the forums while you can, while they are still there, and searching through things a bit to see what is really happening. For the sellers it is not good, for the new members it is not good, and also for the buyers it is going to be an issue too. Especially if you bought from there, even if it was a long time ago, your address is there, and I have to apologize for everyone. When this rolls out with this last change, if you get spammed, I am so very sorry it is happening to you.
Many things to think about here, look at, read, and draw your own conclusions. But, what do you think of Etsy now? How do you feel about what is all happening at Etsy?

Decorative Pressed Glass Compote Candy Dish and Blue Candle Jewelry Holder Pedestal Stand
Just listed this last night at Artfire. 3 separate glass pieces found at different times, and different places were put together to make this adorable candy dish compote. I added the iridescent pink bow for a more feminine touch. Many uses without the lid on it too.
This item is already listed in my store. But, yesterday I went through the store changing wording, titles, etc. When I got to this piece I redid the pictures, and added this angel to the piece too. She is not permanently added to the plate, but will be included with the sale. She just blends with all the colors, don't you think?
Trying not to write one of my lengthy blogs today. But, when you get a chance, it's the weekend, you're home, stop by to visit my PassnItOn Artfire Shop to see what I have listed so far. Working on more pieces....if I could just decide this glass piece with this? This glass piece with that? A 2nd layer of glass and plate? So on, and so on:)
Have a super Weekend everyone, and best of luck to you with all you do. Till the next time.....toodles:)

Artfire. . . .Great Place to be! Check it Out!
Hello again, and Thanks for visiting with PassnItOn today! Ok, just did some touch up glue on 1 item, have another finished product sitting in front of me, and need to revise the pics I took for it. Sorry, no peeking yet everyone:)
But, I would like to ask that ya'll check out this link with Artfire, and please consider it. You know I have my goodies listed there, and do not feel comfortable listing my repurposed, and upcycled items anywhere else right now. I have made enough in sales that takes care of my monthly fees, and I still profit after expenses. I love the google analytics I get with my membership, I enjoy looking at my stats, I really enjoy the forums there as I learn-share-and lurk too!...LOL:)
So, when you get a chance, click the old Artfire link above that I made clickable for you, and have a looksy, ok? You won't be sorry. Hey, I was always told don't keep your eggs in one basket, which I don't, but I sure do like having most of them in the 1 basket!:) Gotta spend a little to make a little, and why not have fun doing it too?:)
Thanks again for visiting, and hope ya'll have a great evening. Stop by here anytime, or visit my stores too:) Check out what I have been doing, and selling. Take care till the next time everyone......Toodles!:)

Etsy Changes & the New Unofficial Etsy Forums is Open. . . Visit With Them
Hello, and Welcome to all who visit with PassnItOn today. Thanks so much for visiting me, stopping by, and of course passing through too. I have 2 more items I have completed, and will be picturing them today for listing in my artfire store. Make sure you visit my store to see what is there, and what more is to come too. Visit PassnItOn at Artfire.
Now, anotther big issue is again with Etsy. They sure have been stirring things up there with making the news, changes, changes, and more changes which usually go unannounced, and you have to kind of be hit in the face with it too. Their lastest issue is with their forums there. They are closing the forums, and the only way to communicate, ask questions, share, learn, and so on will be by joining a "team". Sorry, this is not the same thing to me, and to many others too. Forums are an excellent place not only for the sellers, but also for your buyers. Everyone loves to read, lurk, share, show, and most of all...ask. Now, for all of that you have to belong to a team which we all kind of know how that goes. Whew! Still having a hard time comprehending this one.
Due to this issue many are leaving, have left, closed up shop, and ventured off to find other ways to have their own forums for all to visit, and open to the public too. So, when you get a chance, if you haven't already, visit the Unofficial Etsy Forums that has been started. This group is steadily growing, many topics have been started, and they are progressing quite well too. So, give them a visit if you too are infuriated with the Etsy changes, and need some where to go and vent like others:)
Ok, time be off to feed horses, and to get a package to the post office from a sale on my other sight at artfire. . . LilacsNDreams. Thanks again for visiting everyone, and have a super day!:) Till the next time.....behave, enjoy, and have fun!:)

PassnItOn at Artfire With Repurposed and Upcycled Treasures
Hello, and Welcome to PassnItOn! Glad you found me, and are visiting with me today.
I am finishing up with 1 repurposed, and upcycled treasure I almost have completed. I put lace on yesterday, added more glue, today it is dry, and now am looking at some flowers to make a small bundle to attach to the piece with a small ribbon. I used a new plate that came from a set. Was an odd piece, and I have used a light chandlier cover that has light etched flower design in the glass. Attached the 2 and made another candle holder. This piece is looking good, and looks almost like new too! I am anxious to get it done, and have it ready for show.
I have some extra glass pieces sitting here I have been toying with a bit. I put a piece with this, put these 3 pieces together, this one with that one, and so on. I think maybe I have found a couple of more things to make. I don't rush into things. So, tonight I will got back to looking at them, and probably start gluing again. I have found 3 different glass pieces that fit together nicely to make a lidded compote, or candy dish. I was very surprised the lid fit into the decorative designed bowl I have along with a flatter and wider candle holder to make a base for the piece, and give it a bit more character. Hmmm....I might have to get started gluing it now!
Thanks again for visiting with me at PassnItOn, and when you can visit my PassnItOn Artfire Store too. Love to have the visits, and to show my work to others to see. Take care, and have a super week everyone!:)
